Cranberries with Wheatberries

November 16, 2008

After a weekend of shameless partying I decided that I should make the healthiest meal possible.  Cranberries were the first thing that came to my mind – an awesome antioxidant.  I threw in walnuts – makes healthy hair and for protein.  Flax seed – healthy skin.  And some whole wheat and barley berries for good measure – possibly the most superior complex carbohydrate.  To sweeten the mix with something natural and packed with enzymes, buckwheat honey.

After simmering these bitches all together for about an hour, they were ready to eat.  I topped it all off with some very mature (3 years aged) parmesaen cheese.  I was totally in the mood for something a little older on top.. this is my new favorite.

Havarti and Broccoli Fritatta

Thinly sliced potatoes and broccoli fried in a skillet, then reunited with the eggs and cheese in a bake pan; all thoroughly tanned together on broil.

Lazy Cabbage Rolls

October 27, 2008

Better than lazy sex, these lazy vegan cabbage rolls are quick and easy.  Rice, cabbage, tomato sauce and the oven for an hour and a half.

Lazy Cabbage Rolls

The boys and I were hanging around last week and were pitcing ideas for the next photo shoot.  We wanted to kick off the website with something edgy and racy.

Clearly, bacon covered in chocolate was at the top of our list for most interesting dessert.

All we could say was that this salty-sweet combination was godly.
